Margaret Holmes-Rovner to speak at Spectrum Health’s 2012 Ethics Conference

Spectrum Health’s one day conference, Honesty and Practice: The Ethics of Truth-telling, will provide sessions and networking opportunities designed to increase awareness and provide clinicians from all disciplines strategies to support ethical care in a variety of settings.

The Center for Ethics and Department of Medicine faculty member, Margaret Holmes-Rovner, will be speaking during the afternoon breakout sessions on the topic of patient decision-making. Dr. Holmes-Rovner’s research has contributed substantially to establishing the field of patient-provider shared decision-making in health care.
