Work on cancer screening decision aids by Center for Ethics faculty featured in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians

CA-cancer-journalMargaret Holmes-Rovner and Karen Kelly-Blake, faculty in the Center for Ethics, contributed to a study led by Dr. Masahito Jimbo of the University of Michigan to review the effectiveness of current cancer screening decision aids. The results were recently highlighted in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians.

The study measured such questions about decision aids as: Does the Decision Aid Used in the Study Address the Issues That Need to Be Addressed in a Screening Decision Aid?, and Does the Decision Aid Appear to Be Applicable in Real-World Practice?
